The court allowed Gadkari to withdraw his complaint and said that the matter has been resolved before the court. Both leaders do not want to move forward in this matter.

New Delhi:  There is going to be an apology for the country's politics these days. The leaders are apologizing to each other. Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal apologized to Arun Jaitley and Kumar Vishwas also apologized to Jaitley. Now the name of Congress leader Digvijay Singh has also been included in this list. Digvijay Singh apologized to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

In fact, Gadkari had filed a criminal defamation case against Digvijay, in which case Digvijay has now apologized. After apologizing, the two parties got reconciliation, after which Gadkari withdrew the lawsuit. Digvijay had accused Gadkari of dealing with businessman Ajay Sancheti in 2014, saying that Gadkari benefited Sancheti due to those same relations.

The two leaders had given a joint application in court for this, which was accepted today. Digvijay Singh and Nitin Gadkari had sought permission to withdraw the case by filing a joint application in front of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal.

The joint petition states, "Recently, the Respondent (Leo) and the complainant (Gadkari) met and in private talk, they agreed that sometimes such statements are given in the political excitement. Can not be confirmed So in the larger public interest, they have agreed to end this trial. "

The court allowed Gadkari to withdraw his complaint and said that the matter has been resolved before the court. Both leaders do not want to move forward in this matter. In December 2012, the court granted bail to Congress leader Digvijay Singh in this case. Singh had alleged that Nitin Gadkari had business relations with his party MP Ajay Sancheti.

After getting the first evidence against Digvijay Singh, the court had directed him to appear as an accused. The complaint was filed under the IPC section 499 (defamation) and 500 (punishment for defamation). In his statement recorded in court, Gadkari denied any business relationship with Sancheti. He had said that Singh had accused him of "completely false and defamatory".

According to Nitin Gadkari, Digvijay Singh had alleged to show that he (Gadkari) is responsible for the allocation of coal mines to Sancheti. In his petition, Gadkari had said that Singh had made derogatory allegations against him for spoiling his image in the public. Digvijay Singh had denied the allegations that he had bad image of Nitin Gadkari.
